Recently found a great little first car for our son at Carlux. Low milage, excellent condition and very well priced, plus reasonable on the insurance.We initially set our search boundary up to 50 miles away from home on Autotrader, and were really pleased to find that Carlux were actually only 10 minutes drive from us. They had the best deal by far on the specific model we were looking for, out of around 17 of the same model that were suggested by the search engine. Rang to enquire on the off chance, outside of working hours. Liam kindly offered to pop down to meet us at short notice at a time that was convenient to us.There was no pressure or hard sell from Liam whatsoever, but he did allow us plenty of time to take it for a drive & also showed us a few other great little first cars that he had in stock that we might not have previously considered. Again no pushiness, just information about other great quality similar model small cars to bear in mind. We honestly had a completely different car buying experience with Carlux than we've ever had anywhere in our 30+ years of motoring.Liam was honest, straight, very friendly but with no pushiness whatsoever. He's just a genuinely nice young man who has great cars in stock. Carlux will be our first port of call for future car purchases as we had such a great experience this time around. Would honestly recommend them to anyone.I believe Carlux may be a relatively new business, but I'm sure they they will go from strength to strength with their refreshingly different approach. We really do wish them all the best and look forward to seeing what they have in stock when our youngest turns 17.

We took it in a test drive had a good look over the car and paperwork with no rushing what so ever. A great little first car for our daughter was purchased. Great experience from Liam and Connor when buying my son’s first car. Travelled some distance to see the car and Liam even agreed to stay open after hours for us to see it that day. Car was fab, as advertised and we were driving away with it within the hour. Highly recommended, both friendly, knowledgeable guys.

Contacted carlux on Sunday morning asking to view a car, had a phonecall within the hour to say they'd just taken the car in the day before and it hadn't been prepped, but were so confident in it quality that they would open up specifically for us to see the car that day. We saw that car and after chewing the fat chatting with them about cars in general and what they would do to this car before we took it, we handed over a deposit to secure the car. We were kept updated every step of the way via text, when the car was serviced, when it was safety checked, when it was MOT'd, when it was cleaned and finally when it was ready to collect. Even on the day of collection, issues with the bank on my side didnt cause them any frustrations and we werent rushed through any of it. The car was picked up 3 days after the process started by a happy 18yr old who now has a reliable vehicle to get him about. I'd highly recommend anyone looking for a reliable vehicle to check carlux stock, we've gone from not knowing they existed to wondering if we can get our next boys car from them next year !...
